I have one which the previous owner modified. (It runs fine). He removed the cover that overlies the sporter gas tube and drilled some gas ports. Looks pretty cool that way, but I'm running a Dinzag 308 gas tube now with a standard AK upper handguard. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

evergreenkid29 14 Posted August 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 I took a stock saiga 7.62.39 tube and ground on it and made it fit but when I put on the SGM hand guard the gas tube was at an angle being lower in the front, so it look a bit off and it had a bit of play in it.
