nico the ceo 0
Looking to do a conversion on my saiga and I am torn between the two stocks. I figured I better the experts. What y'all think and why?
corbin 621
I have both. The CTR is nice if you think you'll want length of pull adjustment, but the Tromix is more comfortable (especially with the limbsaver pad). If you're intending on having a folding mechanism added, the LOP on the Tromix (with the LS pad) might be a bit long.
drifter_r6 0
I have a Tromix and MOE (similar to the CTR) stock. The Tromix has a good length of pull and is solid, even mounted to an ACE folder block, love the looks. The comfort of the stock is horrible. The squared off design of the stock digs into your cheek on recoil, buttpad is hard plastic and not very forgiving. There is the limbsaver option but it looks like a gimp foot with a high heel mounted on it. The MOE is lightweight, adjustable length with a receiver tube and foldable with an ACE block. There are buttpad thickness options available. Theres some play with all the adjustability with the stock. From a comfort perspective the MOE takes the win. Both have their pros and cons, depends what you want. Edited September 27, 2011 by drifter_r6
