saillaw 2
Many of the threads I've read on the MKA 1919 have reported FTE's when shooting light loads. However, in my personal expereince the FTE's I've seen have more of a correlation to the length of the brass head than to the load or velocity. For example, in this image: That type of shell, with a fairly long brass head, I've yet to have a a single FTE with, regardless of load. But when I use shells with a short brass head that looks more like this image: Then I tend to get FTE's, about 2 per 5 round magazine. Have any of the rest of you had the same experience? Also, I must say off the bat that I am new to shotguns, I've always been a rifle man, so I appoligize in advance if I've made some noob mistake here.
larry wehunt 2
From my shotshell experience the ones with the longer brass are the more powerful loads which might explain why they work better.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
I installed the new bushing in mine and I'm still getting mostly FTEs with the Federal value pack loads. Pretty disappointing.

Cobra 76 two 2,677
It's low brass (short). I don't really know of any high brass ammo that has the low power and payload of the cheap "value pack" stuff that most people run through their shotguns when just out popping off a bunch of rounds.
