HART1 92 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Share Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) I was just playing with some parts and came up with this idea that would work on any standard AK, making it into a hindged dust cover style weapon. My idea would cover the rear sight base and be pinned in place and the other side welded to the dust cover. A setup like this would increase your sight radius with an HK rear sight and could be installed with no mods to the weapon itself, other than removing the rear sight leaf. P.S. I know my freehand drawings suck, but you get the idea. Lol! I just noticed that I spelt "hinge" wrong. Not enough coffee this morning!
