chriskroll411 2
Sent the Hogslayer back with a slightly canted rear sight and smiths at Ithaca came through. These people really stand behind their product! I was able to exchange my plastic furniture for wood (walnut) and have the rail installed (on top of fixing the rear sight) all for $65.00! Devirginized her with some Remington Premier Accutips which made an incredibly accurate combo with the slug gun but wow do those rounds kick. Kept a 2 1/2" group @ 50 yards. It's only got a 20" inch rifled barrel but I'd like to see what I can do @ 100 yards with some more practice. All in all I'm $515 into this one. chriskroll411 2
Neat design on the receiver. It's built on a model 37, so bottom ejector, kinda like it.
Scott Kenny 144
Cool! Didn't know you could still get new-production Ithacas. And even cooler that they did good by you!

Yeah, I must admit to being a total fanboy now. They just so happened to have a shotty with features I couldn't find anywhere else at a price that couldn't be passed up. It's so weird, they don't even advertise this model, it's not on their site.
