Browndog 0
I finally decided to convert my saiga 12. I consider myself handy but never had any experience with gunsmithing. Overall it went well maybe 3-4 hrs of work. I thank CSS for the informative videos, great pricing and quick shipping also to the others who post their step-by-step conversions. You guys really gave me the confidence to do this myself. So I guess the only thing I have to do is go shoot it. The gun was rock solid before so I expect the same. I really like the balance and feel now not as cumbersome as before. Heres some quick Before and After pics: Before After
The_Caged_Bird 474
Don't expect it to be rock solid the first time you shoot it after conversion. More-than-likely one of the hammer spring legs will have to be tweaked a little so be sure and carry some needle-nose pliers with you the first time you shoot it.
