Rhodes1968 1,638
Now that these have been out a while for us civilians has anyone used them or able to offer up anything? Going to be picking a few boxes unless I hear something to stop it.
RED333 1,025
Never shot any, places I checked, more than a $1.00 a pop, where and at what price?
Rhodes1968 1,638
$21 and they are here and there, CTD has them also. The right ammo at the right time is worth far more than a mere dollar.
BuffetDestroyer 969
Rear penetrating rounds sounds like a bad ritual at prisons!

Rhodes1968 1,638
Dude that is lazy. Google.... http://www.dtic.mil/...sioniii8524.pdf Edit: Ordered a good quantity of this today will let you guys know how runs though the Saiga. At 125g its a good match for the twist rate on the barrel. The penetrating design solves the problem of finding AP for this caliber. Federal brass and primer is used not sure of the powder only that it is temp insensitive much as Varget is considered to be. Yeah $1 is not cheap but its the same price as good hunting ammo. Rhodes1968 1,638
Ok here is the deal. If you reload these are worth looking into. Penetration seems to fall short of AP but better than FMJ. Pretty much what I expected. Thats the good news. The bad news. I seriously do not like the way these rounds looked and pulled the bullets and remade the round. OAL out of the box was shorter than I was comfortable and uncrimped which is puzzling. The good thing about this is you can use your own powder of choice. Not buying a round as much as buying the bullet. Try and find some Israeli AP and fall back to these only if failing that.
