buckshot with buffer

Recommended Posts

I dunno. possibly ground plastic. A lot of reloaders use cornmeal as a buffer material. Buffer should be fine enough to fill the void between pellets, not absorb moisture, and be light enough not to significantly add to the weight of the ejecta. It is considered to be a feature because it reduces shot deformation resulting in more even patterns over distance.

If you hate it that much, just get cheaper shot. Sellier & Bellot has fairly cheap buck in cool looking clear shells that you can see all the way through. I guarantee there is no buffer in their 15pellet 00B.
