TFALAMO 5
What's your experience with different brands ammo. I've shot a little of all, with the Hornady having the best results. If you had only one box of ammo you could grab, what would it be?
Chisell 2
I haven't had any problems with Silver Bear. I love the fact that it is non-corrosive but the best ammo would have to be 7N1 milsurp ammo. It was designed to do damage.
joebanda1213 59
I get about 2 inch groups with just about all ammo I have tried. Hornady is usually a little tighter then 7n6. Had some non boattail barnaul that i have never been able to find again shoot real just as tight as the vmax. I have grouped 7n6 vmax silver bear and wolf hp. I shoot mostly 7n6. Some vmax when benching my rifle. I keep about half a spam can around and couple hundred rounds of various HP's for shtf. If I had to choose one 7n6 is all around good ball ammo
thebuns1 4,323
i like the hornady. they have never failed me as a company. all of my guns love them but one. so i cant bitch. plus they have been very good to me. i had one box of shotgun shells that was short one shell and they sent me two free boxes. it was pretty cool considering i wasnt bitching about it. i just let them know that the lot may have a few more missing. if i had to choose, itd either be that or 7n6. that shits hard to beat for what it is. havent shot too much of the wolf or tula. the silver bear does pretty good but is harder to find in stores here. wolf seems to be more abundant at the moment. i havent had any problems with any of it. so i couldnt say what the worst would be.
