liberty -r- death 1,445
I'm thinking hard about getting into .410 reloading since we have a couple of Saiga .410's and they are a lot of fun to shoot. What would be my best least expensive press for reloading .410? I'm thinking something for both bird shot and slug. I've done some looking, but I'm not sure what will be best for the least money since I haven't reloaded shot shells before. So I'm looking for experienced advice. TonyRumore 1,332
I think the MEC 600 jr is the least expensive press that is available in .410. They are good machines. I would swap out the bushing style charging bar for a micrometer adjustable bar so you don't have to keep buying bushings every time you change your load. The Lee load-all doesn't come in .410. IndyArms 10,186
What he said... ^^^^^ I have two MEC Jr. presses for 12 gauge... they are one of the BEST presses you can buy for the PRICE!!! I have one set up as a dedicated trap load machine. It duplicates the Nitro Gold 27 load almost exactly... The other I use for all my other loading needs. You wont go wrong with a MEC 600 press.
