Guns Are Great 140
I took the BHO's out of all of my Saigas and modded the safety lever on them. I am the QA/QC tech at an engineering and machine shop company and have some of the best welders in the world there, so I got scrap steel and cut it to right size for the finger extention. (2mm thick steel cut 5/8ths " wide by 7/8ths " long. Stuck it in a vise and bent it to a 90 degree angle, and had one of the boys tig it in place. A smooth weld job that looks nice when repainted and works great!! Gotta love my job!! Got pics?
Stupidian 0
I install the washer between BHO and hammer. It work well and the BHO will not come out from the rail. Find the washer with the thickness that does not too tight and too loose.
CLXXXVII 3
Mine stays in just fine, I put the bends in it like the CSS video shows. But when i was instaling after my conversion I actually put pin through the loop the spring made. This made it completely secure, it might be worth a try if you want to keep the bolt hold on. As to the actual question if the russians use the bho, I am not sure, but would be interested in knowing. I would imagine that they do not. I think it was put on as an import requirement to make it a sporting weapon
