haldir 0
Hey guys, I have a saiga with a 2011 manufacture date. I was wondering if any saigas that have a 2011 manufacture date have threaded barrels, thanks. Edited April 5, 2012 by haldir
Shankspony 40
What model do you have? My IZ-332 had 24x1.5RH threads under a ring that was welded on (easy to remove).
Cheechbubba 6
Concur on the IZ332's. The IZ-132's I have seen all need to be threaded once you remove the sleeve.
haldir 0
7.62x39 with an 09XXXXXXX serial number with a 2011 inspection stamp.
Shankspony 40
Haldir... you should be able to see threads under the sleeve on the muzzle.
mogunner 240
I've got a 2011, dimples, no chamber step, and it looks like threads under the shroud, haven't cut it off yet.
haldir 0
I cut the shroud off and no threads for 2011 manufacture date, no chamber step, no vent holes on the gas tube, and dimples, on mine atleast.
Shankspony 40
Haldir - that's interesting... pics of muzzle please?
haldir 0
I don't have a camera sorry.
Stacks 42
How can you tell if its threaded under the shroud? Did anyone here take a picture of one that was threaded before they opened it up? If mine is threaded, I want to cut it but if its not I'll just leave it alone. I don't want to take the risk of cutting it open and finding no threads. Also, Haldir, if yours doesn't have any threads you can make them yourself. Here is a video on how: Edited April 14, 2012 by Stacks
