I'm a lefty, so would like an ambi-safety, I noticed on Firebird's guns they are running the BAD (Battle Arms Development) safeties, anyone know if its the same as the ar15 safety for special for the akdal 1919? saiga545 47 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 From the pics I've seen of them, it doesn't look like the 1100 ext. CH will work. Firebird makes one that is available by phone order. I'm going to get one. And the safety is bigger than a std AR-15 safety. The Firebird safety is a custom part and it supposedly only works with their FCG, which they have to install themselves. The BAD is actually a part that goes on the bolt catch that allows the shooter to press it with their trigger finger. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
