vlarg 0
So i would like to get some HK sights installed on my saiga 223. Can anyone give me some advice about this? How was the front sight block removed? How the the area where the FSB refinished? Any drawbacks to the HK sights?
SgtRaven 531
I found it interesting (and unbelievably affordable): http://www.robertrtg...aksightset.html There are several good threads on FSB removal; run search. Have fun! Add-on: I wouldn't put the rear sight on loose receiver cover, echoing Spacehog's concerns. "Dog leg" or alternative locking covers should be sufficient. Edited May 3, 2012 by Sgt. Spacehog 2,218
I have looked at doing the same conversion to my S762. The question that I have is the welding of the rear sight block on the receiver cover. Would that not produce the same issues with trying to put a scope mount on the cover? I know the cover on my Saiga has more play in it than I would like for the purpose of repeatability in zero. Any thoughts on this issue from those who are using HK sights?
