Looking for spare parts for my 5.45

Recommended Posts

Best bet is to purchase a parts kit. That way you have all the components most likely to fail, and you can sell some of the parts you might not be interested in to recoup some of the expense, like the furniture, stock screws, full auto FCG, etc. It's always a good idea to keep an extra FCG or two around, as well. I have a few Tapco G2 groups laying around, just in case. Apex Gun Parts has Bulgarian AK-74 parts kits for about $200 right now.

You don't need to buy a whole kit, but if you're savvy, you can get the parts you need much cheaper by buying a kit and parting out what you don't want, than buying the individual parts. Sand and refinish the wood furniture, sell at a gunshow for $50-60.
