Finished part one of my .223 build.

 

TWS dogleg and forearm

installing my msa adapter soon (gonna let a smith with a mill do this)

 

also im getting a little wobble in my ace folding hinge. anyone know of a way to tighten it up? its hardly noticeable but my perfectionism is coming out.

no but i will say that i didn't do any magazine fitting like I see recommended for .223's I instead filed the mag catch down just like on a 7.62 and it locked up solid with no wobble. (i also grinded down the tab in the mag well) i hand cycled 5 mags through it with no problem. taking it to the range saturday to make sure it functions before having the ar adapter installed.

You didn't have to do any filling on the front of the mag well? If not, that's great. I filed the mag catch and the interdiction tab and still had to take just a hair off the top of the lip of the mag.

Here you can see the metal showing through where I had to file. Like I said, very small amount.
