any word on a possible 8 rounder from keepshooting?

just to be clear i wasn't easing the bolt into battery. the gun is failing to feed the first round no matter how hard you run the bolt. I was just saying that with no mag it the bolt was wanting to stick as it passed over the hammer. @gunfun thanks for the link. I'm going to re install the original spring today and see how it goes

thanks for the info. im going to do some testing with the original spring tomorrow. and I've done all the reading I can find thats why I asked the question

got a problem. I recently got the reliability kit from carolinashootersupply and now my saiga doesn't want to go into battery on the first round from the bho position. is this due to the lighter spring that was part of the kit? also my bolt wants to stick even when unloaded. if I draw it back and release it slowly sometimes it sticks over the hammer. this gun has maybe 30 rounds through it. is this just a break in problem or should I re install the original spring? thanks!

It looks as though you could use AR flip up sights on that setup. I have the exact set up on my .223. im removing the fsb and using troy micro buis.

I actually expected to have to do that too but got lucky i guess.

no but i will say that i didn't do any magazine fitting like I see recommended for .223's I instead filed the mag catch down just like on a 7.62 and it locked up solid with no wobble. (i also grinded down the tab in the mag well) i hand cycled 5 mags through it with no problem. taking it to the range saturday to make sure it functions before having the ar adapter installed.

Finished part one of my .223 build. TWS dogleg and forearm dinzag guide threading for a flash hider soon installing my msa adapter soon (gonna let a smith with a mill do this) also im getting a little wobble in my ace folding hinge. anyone know of a way to tighten it up? its hardly noticeable but my perfectionism is coming out.
