w0x0f 2
Hello, Just pruchased a loved (used) 308-1, but did not get any manual or tool kit and cleaning rod with it. I've done a search but cant find the manual, does anyone have a link or contact info to get any of the missing stuff? Thanks HD

w0x0f 2
Thanks again! I gave it a shot, Google that is and it showed about 19,700 results (0.40 seconds) and guess what was the very first result! I'm sure I'll be back for more easy questions in the future. shades_of_grey 1,092
Few will disagree with me that this is the most important part of that manual: From page 16: "3.4 CARBINE RE-ASSEMBLY Re-assembly of the carbine is the reverse of disassembly. WARNING: WHEN INSERTING THE BOLT SUPPORT WITH THE BOLT INTO THE RECEIVER IT IS NECESSARY TO MATCH THE BOLT PROTRUSIONS WITH THE RECEIVER SLOTS. SINK THE HAMMER FLUSH, PRESS THE BOLT LEFT-HAND PROTRUSION WITH A FINGER AND MOVE THE BOLT SUPPORT FORWARDS." The translation is terrible, like the rest of the manual, but that does work and it's relatively easy. Pay paticular attention to the part in bold. The S-308 doesn't go back together quite like other Saigas, (or AKs), do.
