It's not in a single post that I'm aware of. I think the chocks your asking are the plug settings. #1 setting - magnum or 3" inch loads #2 setting - 2 1/2" inch loads or 3" inch loads that wont' eject on setting #1 Alot of guys use the Russian brand ammo for slugs. I make my own so I can't say what the best commercial slug is. Best shot load depends on the use. If you state the intended use it would help determine which shot would be best suited for it. The brenneke sabot slugs are the best, but at $8-9 for a box of 5, it is sometimes out of my budjet. For shot, I like buckshot. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
