OK so I'm just looking to have my information confirmed. I plan to sbs my saiga 12.

 

If I apply for an 8" barrel i can change my mind and cut it to a 12 without any issues or additional paper.

(I can cut it longer than approved length not shorter)

 

OAL is tip to tip of whole gun with unfolded stock.

Can I measure OAL shorter than it really is to accommodate possible different future stock that might be shorter than current stock.

 

Lastly on the form 1 in section 2 is a trust classified as corporation or other business entity?

you're suppose to inform the NFA branch of any changes in the form 1. you don't need to apply another form 1 and tax, you can inform them in writing that you want to amend the BL, OAL, caliber to reflect what it will be.
