ChileRelleno 7,071
Again... Took the first ferry across, made the short hike and set up camp. Had my youngest boy with me and a friend of mine who hadn't fished the Ft. Morgan Point before. Cold as a witch's tit this morning, but it warmed up very nicely and the wind died down, turned into a beautiful sunshiny day. Didn't take long to have the first hookup on a Bull Red, and for camera decided to stop working. :violent So here are some crappy cell phone pics. The day's tally ended with five Bull Reds 38" 23lb-14oz 39" 24lb-9oz 39" 24lb-11oz 41" 26lb-3oz 44" 29lb And one Red just over slot at 27" (no weight taken). Some nice keeper Whitings, none were exceptional like that big'un #r has pictured with his Illinois crew. A fat 3lb'7oz Gaff Top cat and a Southern stingray. Another fun filled day surf fishing the Gulf! :fishing:

It will be spring before the big boys show back up in the surf of the Outer Banks...can't wait to sling some bait!
