Drew410 0
Got a new 410 for Christmas. Tried to shoot today, loaded clip, pulled back bolt, shell loaded into barrel...BUT. Nothing. No tension on trigger, bolt will not move back more than 1/2 inch, shell is still in barrel and I can't get it out? Help? Thanks. Used Remington 3 " shell, but haven't got off a shot yet. liberty -r- death 1,445
Is it a stock or coverted saiga? Did the round chamber completely? I.e. bolt closed all of the way? I would try to use a rubber mallet to hit the charging handle or the corner of a post to push it back. Obviously with the muzzle pointed safely away from any thing. If you can get the round out, then field stripping would be next and take photos to post for more help.
bigdaddyhatty 65
Yep, I'd take the magazine off and dust over and try to see what's going on/ take pictures. Safely of course. I had something similar happen when I tried to use a spent shell as a snap cap. The brass had expanded (I think it had been fired in my judge) so it didn't chamber all the way and jammed everything up, I couldn't pull the bolt back. I eventually kicked the bolt back with my foot. I wouldn't advise doing that with a live round though.
