mtviewtrans 0
Looking at a SA2000 with single stack mag , what has to be done to use double stack AK 47 mags?
Arik 565
I don't think you can do much with those. I hade one and its a very specific rifle. It doesn't take standard single stack mags.
akastormi 617
I've opened up receivers and trunions from single stack to double on AK's. A mill would be nice for it, but I did the work in my garage with a drillpress and dremel.
veritas_vincit 4
Widen the magwell such as with a Dremel, and replace the trigger guard/mag catch with a standard AK style one. The spacer under the SA2000M 's trigger guard that's sandwiched atop the selector stop is not standard (thicker).
mostholycerebus 415
IIRC these receivers are what the FEG AMD65s are based on. They just opened up the well. It has dimples for a double stack mag.
