misterT 174 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 Sorry I have not ever heard of a maxrounds brake but this is a pic of my S12 with the CSS Molot style brake. It is reputed to be THE BEST most effective brake available for the S12. Others have stated that the Tromix Monster brake may be just as good. JT engineering and Bonesteel arms and Dinzag ALL have brakes that are also supposed to be good. I bought the Molot style because it has a long reputation. I have found that it made a very noticeable difference in follow up shots. The felt recoil is not reduced as much as I expected but I am still very happy with it. It IS massive at 5 1/2 inces long and 1 1/2' inches in diameter at the base where it fits over the barrel. this is why I made my own front sight base to match it.
