macbeau 902 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Share Posted February 11, 2013 I've had one for about 2 years, but it only feeds ball reliably. Wanting to feed it Winchester Ranger HP or Gold Dots.. My local gunsmith speaks highly of them (steel quality, interchangeability with 1911, sights, fit & finish, etc...), but I don't want to pay his $$$ to make HP's work. I'm not sure why it did, or why most 1911s will not. Have you tried feeding it your preferred defense ammo to see if it will run reliably? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
