HK_Shawn 0
Has anyone externally threaded their barrel to accept an S12 break (m22x.75) while retaining the factory choke threads internally? Basically I want to know if there is enough "meat" to the barrel to allow this, I'm currently running a Tom Cole thread adapter but want to go back to using chokes. My barrel is .884" at the tip. Haycock 9
i would say no. as it is now with no external threads, .884-.8125=.0715/2=.03575 so your wall thickness now is .03575. m22 threads are .866142" OD .866142-.8125=.053642/2=.026821 so now your wall thickness is .026821 before you even cut the threads. im not sure how deep the threads are but you can see where im going with this. I think i did that right, someone correct me if im wrong.
