  1. maybe Firebird precision... google the name and you will get a web site, on that web site you will get a phone number...
  2. I used a horizontal band saw with a fine tooth blade on it. it cut it nice. i then used and belt sander and a file to finish it.
  3. wow thats amazing that it wasnt long ago you just wanted to make a part or two because no one was making them. now its a full blown bussiness! congrats!
  4. she bought the hogue stuff before magpul came out with pink, she says the she likes the magpul pink but she would prefer it to be hotter...
  5. why do all gun parts manufacturers always use that soft pink? my wife has searched and searched for hot pink stuff for her AR and almost everything is that same soft pink. she ended up getting hogue stuff and its semi hot pink...
  6. thats wierd its being such a pain. mine came off fairly easy. i wrapped the receiver with a rag then lightly clamped it in a vice then used vice grips at the base of the rod and it didnt need much force to loosen. if you have a little propane torch you can put a little heat on the base of the rod to break the lock tite. i didnt need to heat mine but if yours is stuborn then heat may be needed.
  7. Old thread bump. Did you fix your barrel? I just installed my FB handguard and found I also have a crooked right hand barrel, along with a slight droop. PM sent
  8. cutting the stock off is very easy. i used a band saw to cut it and a belt sander and file to finish it. i would imagine it would be pretty easy with a hack saw and a file. just take your time and make a cut or two to practice. depending on the manufacture of the adapter there is different spots to cut them. mine is a tromix and it was .600 back.

    MKA Handguard

Thats the deal breaker for me. on the plus side they do say they will have one available in April, but these guys seem to take forever to put a product out. I usually loose interest by then. do you have a hacksaw?

    MKA Handguard

I like the looks of this handguard and a good price too. i wonder how sturdy it is. if i didnt have a FB and didnt want a forward charging handle i would be all over one of these. i might need to buy another MKA to try one of these out... i like all their products, i wish they had their stock adapter when i bought mine. they need to get to work on their charging handle and breaching brake cus those would look good on my gun.
  11. How many different threads are you going to post this in??? posting this in every thread isnt going to make Anibus or gentlemanjim respond faster. they will read it when they read it... How about you just buy tac-12 lower and then drill a hole in the adapter or just take about 10 seconds and unscrew the buffer tube when you want to fully strip the gun. i really dont see what the big deal is? if you want a aluminum lower then buy it and if not then dont...
  12. I dont want to step on any toes but from what i hear and see, the tac-12 will take down with the bolt in the back so you still need to remove the buffer tube. They did put some thought into this and their solution is the Tac-12 A1. from what i hear and assume it will have 2 take down pins like a standard AR and be sold as a set.
  13. ok im going to throw my guess out there... 10rnd mag couplers?
  14. Our springs were designed for use with our extensions. I can't promise you'll get 10 rounds out of a Salem6 extension using them, you may only be able to get 9, perhaps only 8. yes that is correct, i could only fit 9. i ended up cutting 4 coils off of the FB springs making them 17 coil springs i believe. i am now able to fit 10 and load with a closed bolt. i went and shot it yesterday and it ran great! first time the gun has ran flawless.

    Muzzle Flip

mine felt the same then i put a FB hand guard on and it is balanced very nice. plus if you put a different stock on it that will be a little higher and be more inline with the barrel
