LuPiN8oR 333
I had that issue too when i switched mounts. I recommend the weaver skeleton rings. Good price and apparently w blue loctite do real well!
S5snake 41
They are reasonably priced, perhaps I'll purchase the medium and high rings to see where I'll end end. Thanks for the info.
LuPiN8oR 333
What objective does your scope have? Mines a 44mm obj. (Vortex 2.5-10) And i had to use high rings to clear the leaf sight. Conversely, using the same mount with a vortex 1-4x24 (on the sgl), i was able to use low weaver skeleton rings. S5snake 41
I have a Trijicon Accu Point 1-4x24 I'm going to mount on my 16" barreled 308, hopefully the medium Weaver skeleton rings will work for this setup. For my 22" barrel 308 I'm going to buy a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 to assist with some distance shooting. I would imagine I'll need at least the high rings to clear the rear sight. LuPiN8oR 333
Your trijicon has the same #s it seems as the 1-4x24 vortex pst i have. It fit with low weaver rings on my m.i mount For the 4-16, yeah id imagine youre gonna need high rings lol. I would try the low rings first on the 1-4x24. I originally ordered medium then wanted it lower and it worked, even with the huge ocular bell on the 1-4. Edited July 1, 2013 by LuPiN8oR
