poolingmyignorance 2,191
So I've been looking to trade or sale my RRA UTE-2. 5.56Nato. I've put a magpul ACS stock, grip, and 9" troy battle rail on it. I've got two offers. One is for a PAP M85 with Ace Folder and perm. attached barrel extension. A few hundred rounds of ammo and some mags. the other Is a 1905 built Winchester 1895 lever action. I know nothing about this gun, was trying to sell it for $1500 but wants to trade straight across for it now. What should I know about the 1895? I know they were made in several different calibers.. but anything else (potential knock offs, defects, exaggerated values)? Thanks.
Maxwelhse 1,285
Cash is king in most cases... That's about all the opinion I have to offer.
poolingmyignorance 2,191
Yea,I got the info on the 1895. Guy was exaggerating it's value for the condition. It was the 30-40krag, with lots of grunge on the finnish from years of handling. The m85, I'm still on the fence about
Arik 565
Sounds like a weird way of buying a rifle. If I'm gonna add stocks and barrel extension I might as well buy the rifle.
PRISONSHANK 70
Sounds like one of those cnc warrior builds off a pistol. Those were going for pretty cheap a few months ago if i recall correctly.
