Spartacus 1,619
The usual tinfoil sites are posting about the "Jade Helm" military exercise scheduled for later this summer in several states. So not a big deal, the military always does exercises right? Except this exercise is specifically to train for containing public disturbances. It includes prisoner control and relocation, and house to house searches. And the operation tag line: “Mastering the Human Domain” ???? "Though disputing any ill intent, the Army Times admits that the Jade Helm drill is real, and that soldiers have trained for the approach – “mastering the human domain” – before." http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/its-just-a-training-exercise-special-ops-shoot-down-jade-helm-conspiracy-theories_04062015 http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2015/03/31/why-the-new-special-operations-exercise-freaking-out-the-internet-is-no-big-deal/ I don't buy into every conspiracy theory that comes down the pipe, but this type of thing does make me uncomfortable. Especially with U.S. citizens unwittingly playing the part of "the enemy". It's odd how many of these drills have also turned into reality somehow, such as the "planes running into buildings" drill on September 11, 2001 among many others. Surely that was all a coincidence. . Edit: The Washington Post story just got pulled from the website. I took a snapshot and refreshed and it's "Page not found" now. Then it's back a few minutes later.... . Edited April 9, 2015 by Spartacus
XD45 7,124
Don't worry. The military will only be used against BAD people.

Spartacus 1,619
To me, the operation tagline “Mastering the Human Domain” and training for house to house searches (gee... what would they be searching for?) doesn't really feel the same as "Operation Enduring Freedom". This doesn't look like anything related to freedom at all. It looks more like a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and the Fourth Amendment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

Rhodes1968 1,638
It is a question of credibility and .gov has none, zero, zip, nada. The media? Same boat, they obviously are towing the .gov USS Sinking Stinking Garbage Scow line. That leaves the internet or personal contacts for information. Alex Jones actually did a pretty good job stating his case with some verifiable documentation putting together the paper trail. Yeah he is tough to watch, far too damned emotional during what was otherwise a rational argument. I dont hold that against people as that's just the way it is when your country goes down the drain, some folks get a mite riled. Happens to everyone in the face of massive stupidity eventually. The term "freaking out" is just part of the diatribe to cast dispersion on anyone presenting evidence contrary to the .gov statement since they have no credibility themselves. Since the net is last place anything much can be discovered, and then it is a study in defensive skepticism, how does the FCC ruling sound now? Hope it was worth all the crap people download allowing govt control of our last source. Do I trust the military? Hell no they draw the King's shilling just like the IRS.
Spartacus 1,619
This thread seems like the right place for this video. The guy is either nuts..... or he's right. It does make me a bit more nervous about Jade Helm. .
storm6490 2,768
They dropped this information to make the training more realistic. Same shit happened on the east coast but without all the technology and media online. What we should be worried about is the fast track fucking NAFTA on Steroids.
