lenf 5
Just got a case (270 rds.) of Barnaul buckshot, 70mm, from dansammo.com, $109 + shipping. I just test fired some and opened one up to look at the components. There are five lead pellets .031" diameter. This works out to an 0 buckshot. At 50' the pattern is about 3" across. I'm using a muzzle brake from Miss Auto Arms. The first pellet seems to stick to the plastic cap and makes a big hole, looks like a slug hole. The pattern is tighter than Remington or Winchester 000 buckshot which are also five pellets. They feed fine.
russianblood 0
They list it as #4 buck which is .24 diameter. It sure is a great price. I may need to break down and add a case to my Barnaul slugs.
miklognasser 0
Lenf, Did you use the 76 mm magazine with them? Thats a great price and I just ordered 2 15 rnd mags from CSS today. If that ammo will work in the 76 mm mags, I am getting some! Thanks! Mike
russianblood 0
From the reports in this forum, the new 15rd magazines will shoot the steel cased ammo.
