A relative of mine is shooting my SIG556xi with Manticore Arms' NightBrake, using the .223 Federal American Eagle .55 gr FMJ.

Holy crap, it's not even 5.56!!!

Got to dig out and trim the video of XM193 NATO we shot next. I'm surprised my Range card still works there (i.e. I'm still OK to go back).

Last "documentary" on this topic: it's been replaced with (my 3rd) Miculek .223 comp.

SGT. RAVEN,

YOU'RE SUGGESTING PERHAPS THEY SHOULD DROP THE "NIGHT" FROM ITS NAME, UNLESS THEY REALLY MEANT "RIP THE NIGHT ASUNDER"?

BET SHE'S LOVIN' THAT GRIP POD!

THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA YOU HAD, ADDING THAT THING!

Haha!

Neah, I suggest nuttin' (my lips are tight :). But I hear you 5x5...

On grip pod: she's got as far as looking for it (or its brand new equivalent) under the tree on Christmas morning. Sorry Lady, it didn't happen. That's a keeper.

Back to the comp: I even wonder if flash more pronounced with gas piston platforms like SIG. I've seen very favorable reviews of using it on ARs (which led me into purchasing it).

HOWEVER, its AK version keeps generating sound responses. Puzzled..
