That is his 'Doctor Jones' hat, i.e. Indiana Jones, he loves Indy and dressed as him for Halloween.

I told him that it is a cool hat and shows he has style, so he continues to wear it.

Lil SOB gets a lot of attention from the female persuasion, commenting on his hat.

He'd be great for picking up hotties if I was single again.

i agree that kids are great for pickin up hotties. i also dig that sweatshirt. id sport one if it would fit my lame ass.

kids spend way too much time indoors nowadays.

I'm always telling my wife, toss'em in the backyard (we've a huge backyard) and lock the door, no blood/no entry till lunch/dinner.

Let them play via imagination, climb the trees, dig in the dirt, watch the birds/insects

 

They get exposed to nature walks/hikes, birdwatching ( my wife and I are avid birders), tenderfoot camping, FW/SW fishing, hunting/shooting and we take in all sorts of critters on a temporary/just visiting basis for the kids to experience.

My kids all love to fish, Nathaniel is a budding marksman and just received his first rifle this Christmas, a Crickett .22lr.

His lil'sister is expressing an interest in firearms at the tender age of three, but not unexpected since Mommy/Daddy and brother all have guns.... Cept for my oldest, he is autistic and shows zero interest, though he knows the Golden Rules by heart.

 

I was almost never in the house when I was a kid, home only to eat, bathe, sleep and get wounds tended. : P
