Springs don't get "tired" - they undergo stress from the cycling action. You actually do more harm than good by loading and unloading them -- it's the cycling that causes problems. I do have to say that the instructions with my saiga-12 where unreadable. I doubt they make sense in the russian they are written in either.

The Cheaper Than Dirt store had a few in stock over in Ft.Worth They had at least 2 last time I was there.

If you have any extra after he buys them let me know. I need about 6 to get me started.
