  1. Reamer and tap for installing RemChoke screw-in chokes in your shotgun. Can be done without a lathe (but it'd probably take a while). Uses bronze bushings (not included). Brownells part numbers are 184-046-012 (12 Gauge Rem-ChokeTM Reamer) and 184-044-012 (12 Gauge Rem-ChokeTM Tap). These are used, in excellent condition. Tools would cost over $300 if bought new from Brownells, yours for only $180 shipped (PayPal or money order). Thanks for looking, Sam B.
  2. Have 1 Saiga 12 mag, 5 round, used but not abused. $55 shipped via Priority Mail. PayPal ok (no extra fee, address is srbjeep@fireflysoft.com) or money order. Thanks for looking, Sam B.
  3. 2 Knoxx drums, new and unused. One opened, the other still in package. $60 each (shipped). Thanks for looking, Sam B. info@fireflyarms.com
  4. Cleaning out some stuff, prices include shipping, PayPal ok. 1. Tapco US made grips, $8 each: 2. Stock adapter for using an AR-15 stock on Saiga (any stamped AK), $12: 3. Take-off Saiga buttstocks (no pic, if you're on this website I'm sure you know what they look like), as new, $10. Thanks for looking, Sam B. info@fireflyarms.com
  5. Just put my last one up on Gunbroker: Saiga 12 on Gunbroker.com I'd also be interested in trading this for a good (Armalite, RRA, or Bushmaster) AR-15 carbine. Any questions, just ask. Sam B. http://www.fireflyarms.com
  6. 2 Knoxx shotgun drums, new and unused (one has been opened, the other is still in the package). These are the drums only, not the entire conversion kit. $75 each shipped or will trade for AK mags (8 each). Thanks for looking, Sam B. info@fireflyarms.com
  7. Started out as a stock 19" gun with internal bolt hold open. Converted to pistol grip config with Century fire control group and Tapco grip, threaded flash hider, and Romanian side folding stock. $625 shipped to your FFL. Payment can be via personal check, money order, or PayPal. Shipment to your dealer is via insured Priority Mail. Thanks for looking! Sam B. FireflyArms.com Answers to common questions: 1. This shotgun is for sale in the shown configuration only. I will not adjust the price if you include your homemade pistol grip, change stocks, etc. 2. This shotgun
  8. Just received a couple more Saiga 12s. I have 2 with the factory 19" barrel, fixed sights, and bolt hold open. They're new in the box with 1 magazine and manual (does not have screw in chokes). Factory stock for $400 or converted to pistol grip configuration with a K-Var US made black AK stock for $565. Prices include shipping. Other options (SAW grip, other stocks, etc) available upon request, prices vary. Thanks for looking, Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  9. The CAR-15 stock is fairly solid. As it comes out of the box there is some play between the buffer tube (receiver extension) and stock body. To remove this play I put 2 pieces of black tape at the rear of the buffer tube. My only complaint with the stock would be the shape of the buttplate. I would prefer that it was more narrow and longer. Anything else I can tell you, just ask. Sam B. http://www.fireflyarms.com
  10. Saiga rifle in .308, 16" barrel, US made FCG, CAR-15 stock, TDI grip. Unfired, comes in box with 1 magazine, manual, etc. $450 shipped. Thanks for looking, Sam B. http://www.fireflyarms.com
  11. The shotgun above is sold, pending receipt of funds. If I don't see anything by Tuesday (1/18), it will be available again. Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  12. New Saiga 12 gauge, converted to pistol grip, CAR-15 stock installed, 18.25" barrel, one 5 round mag, cleaning kit, manual, $500 shipped. Thanks for looking, Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  13. I wish! They're a bugger to get back in place. But no, the conversion does not eliminate the bolt hold open. The bolt hold open comes down inside the "new" trigger guard but not so far as to interfere with operation. Sam B. FireflyArms.com

Nobody yet has had their shotgun shipped direct to me from CDNN. I've had folks ask about it but haven't see one show up. If you're shopping around, Centerfire Systems has the Saiga 12 in stock also: CenterfireSystems. Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  15. I picked up this adaptor from a seller on AR15.com. I'm not completely sold on how durable it'll be but it's a cool idea. It positions your head higher also. Figured it was worth the $15 to give it a shot (I already had the stock). Sam B. info@fireflyarms.com
  16. Brand new Saiga 12, bobbed to 18", converted to pistol grip configuration. Includes 5 round magazine, manual, cleaning kit, etc. Does not include buttstock (can provide and install fixed synthetic for additional $50). Only $415 (includes shipping to your FFL. Thanks for looking, Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  17. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd go with USPS for shipping. You can ship a Saiga via insured Priority Mail to just about anywhere in the US for under $20 (as long as you don't pack it in a wooden crate or steel box). UPS offers better tracking and is usually cheaper but they tend to give more customer service trouble when shipping a firearm. Very few of the folks that work the counter are familiar with their own shipping regulations. For instance, they'll tell everyone that ALL firearms must be shipped overnight (which is where I think the poster above is getting his price). In fact, only
  18. Yeah, I think it's a pretty good deal too! The price is just a reflection of time and parts. I haven't seen a need to open the gas port. Going to 18", there is still a lot of barrel ahead of the gas port, hence plenty of pressure and dwell time. Going short for a SBS i could see but I'm not licensed for those. Regarding the poster above, I can't say I've received any emails to which I haven't responded. I think AOL blocks my emails sometimes, so if you're on AOL let me know. My phone number is also listed on my website: FireflyArms.com. I'm definitely bit by the Saiga bug and just
  19. I've been using "E" clips instead of the retaining wire. You get 3 points of contact vesus 1 with the wire and no issues of where to secure the wire. Sam B. info@fireflyarms.com

In response to the choke question: Cutting the barrel to 18" removes any restriction (choke). This is commonly called a "cylinder bore" and causes the widest pattern (without the use of a duckbill type spreader). Sam B. FireflyArms.com
  21. I can do your Saiga conversion. Cost would be $125 (not including return shipping or buttstock). Conversion would include: US made fire control group US made pistol grip (If you supply your own PG, knock $15 off the price.) Relocate existing triggerguard Cut hole for grip screw bushing Touch-up finish Here's a pic of one (minus buttstock) and a close up of the triggerguard. Additional services available (complete refinishing, cut and crown barrel, etc). Any questions, just let me know. Sam B. FireflyArms.com
