  1. Just sent my friend Mike over to Matt at T@N...he got an excellent deal on a stock MKA 1919... with the extra 10% off for Fathers Day! He picked up one shipped for $649....GREAT DEAL!! Dont forget me Matt! I will be ordering the UTS soon!
  2. I paid $260.00 shipped for my F.B. Long railed XN hand guard from Saigastock when I ordered it a couple months back..I beleive the XN's are more expensive because they machine the Op Rod out of solid Stainless Steel so they dont have to anodize the it...my Tac-12 weights almost 11 pounds now...Deffinately Helps when shooting 3" loads... I see centerfire has new mka's for 669.99....thats the best price i have seen for awhile.
  3. Sounds to me like the bolt hold open feature isn't rising high enough on the bolt carrier to secure it properly.... if this is the case then the problem is the magazine.... I had this problem on a couple magazines I had. Insert a freshly loaded mag and the bolt carrier disengaged and chambered a round in the barrel...It's a problem that needs attended to ASAP!!
  4. Chec I Just about bet you are having the same Problems I had with my XN model 1919..The reason your having trouble with the last round bolt hold open is not because of your Lower or Bolt catch, it is because of your Magazines!. About every factory 1919 i purchased need some fine tuning of some sort. What was happening with my mags was that the magazine follower wasn't rising high enough in the magazine body to allow the spring loaded Bolt hold open plunger to push the bolt hold open mechanism in the lower up high enough to get a good hold on the Bolt! If you will open up the front po

  6. I have one its a open choke for slugs. Mine measures .730 I.D.
  7. I was going to get one right off the line when they first offered it on G.B. It seemed to have some bugs to work out so I stayed clear of it for awhile...Hopefully they got the gun working properly as I really like the Bullpup shotty....short length, light weight.. and only have to carry ammo and not mags...Now if T&N put's together some of there Great Idea's for the Utash....they will have a winner in my opinion....Put me on the list for one! I think the magazine selector lever broke! They were made of plastic the last I recall...this should be Metal!!
  8. I almost wasted a grand on one of these before I seen the review videos....
  9. I have the MKA to Saiga thread adaptor that i use for now when shooting Slugs....I keep a saiga 12 thread protector over it for now as i was thinking Of going with MUZZLE products offered for the saiga 12...NOW THAT T@N Has a sweet comp with choke i'm deffinately going to get the T@N...
  10. Now that we have all have "voiced our opinions" Lets keep the thread I started on topic....If you would please!
  11. The firebird logo doesn't bother me, but personally would have used the same size logo thats on the stock so they could have enough room for lettering above and below that said Firebird Precision.
  12. Ah! well I'm only 6' and have only chimpanzee arms.... arms
  13. I wonder If Burt Reynolds has one tucked away in the trunk of a 77 T/A S.E. You can fire the MKA with the stock folded though... It doesn't lock when folded but has an tension screw that you can tighten so the stock will stay in it's folded position when upside down...Just grab the stock and fold it back to lock into the ready position.. Yes it has good access to the upper and lower screw and you can use the stock tube for storage if you have a plastic water tight match holder or something that would fit into the buffer tube area of the stock
  14. 11" end of receiver to end of but stock...Feels like the original lower assembly dimensions. You might want the adjustable blade stock for tactical Situations... I mostly target shoot....
  15. The locking mechanism locks up "Tight" ....and it feels Very Solid!
  16. Looking at the Pictures now of how it fits the Firebird stock and Lower...."I LIKE IT" Now for the Rear LMT sight to get here...
  17. Actually the fact that more and more people are willing to get on the list proves that they've got the time for it. O LARD GEEZUS, IT'S A FARR! LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL
  18. Law Tactical F/S adapter in the mail today...Install tonight... Been thinking about a video of it if anyone would be interested in checking It out let me know....
  19. Syndicate.....consider those out there who have broken receivers and need areplacement.Mine sold to a guy who had three MKA's and wanted a receiver to modify without cutting His own (warranty I guess) as mine still had the butstock..
  20. No it didn't! I sold my stock lower several weeks ago and I been eager to get it and get it done... Have my rear LMT sight on the way along with my folding stock mechanism that I will use... more pic's this weekend of the folder....
  21. Received my receiver at dinner time yesterday. Installed firebird hammer, trigger disconecter and BAD safty lever's. When i got home i drilled the bolt stop out for the roll pin Used masking tape all around that area before installing thebolt roll pin. The longest part of the task was taking a round file and filing the slot for the bolt that Secures the upper to the lower....it was no big deal just get an appropriate round File and file the slot if you have to until the receivers match up perfectly with the bolt Screwed in...BE careful and dont get in a hurry installing the bolt catch roll pin
  22. Not quite done! But close......
