  1. Ben is not one to shit on people, he is not the only one who goes off of an invoice to make announcements on new inventory. I know you are disappionted but there are still Saiga 12's available out there. Scott
  2. I dont think you have our mount if it has that warning in the instructions. Our original design does require the removal of the rear site leaf and all of the companies that have copied our design require the same thing. On our new design which is pictured here in this thread, you DO NOT have to remove the rear site leaf. Scott
  3. We are working on it. We are trying to find ways to keep cost down but still offer a quality mount. Scott
  4. If I'm not mistaken, that is a plastic copy of our original Beryl mount. Thiers is made out of some type of polymer and ours is machined out of a solid block of aluminum. Scott
  5. I fully understand that you have to pay to play, we have intentionally not advertised anything for sale. We are simply trying to get all the feedback that we can to ensure that this thing is as best it can be. I went back and checked all of our post and all we have ever done is respond to questions being asked by members and also asked for some feedback in reguard to R&D work. If I have misstepped I appologize!!! Scott
  6. Thanks guys, we have worked hard to get this right. We are right were we need to be. There are a couple of "tweaks" that we need to do. The rear trunion on the Saiga is not as deep as the Romanian guns so we have to fine a way around that and also we need to find out how many different variations there are in the rear trunions from country to country. Scott
  7. We got the samples in today and here are the pics as promised. We tried to stick as closely as posible to the original Beryl design but we also wanted to make it user friendly with NO gunsmithing required. The mount is connected to the rear site base with 2 hardned and pointed screws which will make a small indentation into the metal and act as a pivot point. The screws then have "set screws" that lock them into postion. We were originally considering using a "spot" drill bit to create a deeper indentation for the points to sit in but now that we have it in hand we are not sure that it wil
  8. Sorry guys, my web guy grabbed the wrong pic when he added it to the site. When one of the girls in the office came and asked me about it I had to go take a look and sure enough he had it wrong. I have replaced the pic with an AGP 10 round mag so all is correct now. My web guy is one hell of a programer but I do wish he knew a little more about guns...... Scott
  9. I could not agree with you more. I wish the real thing was readily available here in the US. I am in no way trying to say that this is Russian wood. I am saying that this is the absolute best reproduction set that I have ever seen and for a third of the price. Some of you may know Kevin aka Z_recto on many of the boards. He did a very nice comparison on these sets to the actual russian sets. Here is the link if you would like to take a look Russian Repo Review Scott
  10. Let me take care of a couple of the questions...... We signed up as an exclusve distributor with the importer on these stock sets so all of these are coming from us or the importer. There is no difference between the sets. As for the pistol grips, they are currently being worked on. We hope to have laminated pistol grips to match with the next batch that is imported. They have made a couple samples but they were not close enough to the original Russian design so they are now working to fix them. I will say that these are very nice reproductions stock sets. I dont know what the other d
  11. Rest assured they ARE coming to market. We have completed the new design and we are in the testing phase. We do not want these coming off. I hope to have some to sell in a couple of weeks. We had a few other projects already started when we discovered the problem with the original design of the brake. Here is a sneak peak of what else we are working on for the 7.62,.223. and the .308. The 12 ga will be shortly after these. Scott of course it will be black.
  12. We have this quad rail coming out soon for the 7.62, .223 and the .308. Here is the first run of what we believe will be the final design. We are looking for any input that you guys may have. Let us know Scott
  13. I'm so excited about these that I am finding it hard to have patience. I truly belive these are going to be a big hit. We have one in the hands of a MAJOR firearms distributor and we are waiting to hear from him on his torture test of these. We are VERY confident that we have the correct design now but I still want him to fire several hundred rounds through these before we have the shop make a large run of these. Hopefully we will hear from him by mid week and we can turn the shop loose on these and have them on the site before July. Scott
  14. It is in works but it has some "unique" chanllenges. I hope the new design for the 7.62 and the .223 will lend itself to the .308. Time will tell. Scott
  15. The new Beryl will hopefully be available in about 2 weeks. As for the email, i dont get around to emails very often. Call me at the office. Scott 888-376-0937
  16. I heard there was some talk over here that we needed to know about......You guys who know me, thanks for standing up for me. Those of you who dont know me.......trust that we have never intentonally done anybody wrong. As for the brakes, we took a sampling from a lot of rifles and several that other builder/vendors had in stock to make these brakes. We felt that we had a pretty good sampling but obviously there were some out there that were not represented in that sampling. We learned about the problem last week and we are now working on the solution. There are only a handfull that got sh
