  1. Nice color choice! I got my s12 done in Blackhawk Coyote Tan Duracoat. Here's mine on a pink baby blanket for fun! Looking Sweet! Something about that Tan color I like!
  2. Looks like everyone is enjoying the conversion still!
  3. I liked it better when it was about the pics!
  4. Thanks for the reply, I totally agree and was just making sure it just wasn't my gun. Brad
  5. Nice firearm. just wanted to ask what you think of your tri-rail? I have the same, kinda wishing it was fastened up front as well. thanks, Brad
  6. Thanks for the kind words. Thanks again for all the posts you guys, the details on this site makes for great edjamacation! Even though I did all the grunt work ie: sanding, welding, machining, etc, my partner JT did a top notch job painting the projects. I would definately let it set up a little longer in the future (Duracoat). But when you've been staring at this for a long time, ya get impatient. I found a mini HVLP gun on Ebay for $17.00 delivered, can't say enough about it, worked great! And 11 beers later, we were done!
  7. Finally got done goofing off and finished my conversion. The only thing that was left off was the MOJO sight that was removed for the picture. The leftover paint went to my Mosin M38.
  8. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the other calibers follow suit!
  9. Thanks for the feedback, this place is the best! Brad
  10. Alrighty then! Long live the nub! Thanks!
  11. Just curious what if any can be done about the big swipe the safety lever leaves on the receiver. I see it has a nub on the back that is the responsible party. Can this be removed, or does it help hold the lever in position. I plan on refinishing the firearm after the conversion, maybe the aftermarket finishes (Duracoat, gunkote) are stronger than the kremlins spray paint. Thanks again, Brad
  12. After removing the handguard I noticed there is a cylindrical clamp which bolts the gas tube to the barrel. It has what appears to be 4 pins holding it on. Two of them are flush with the clamp. The other two stick out approx .125". Are these just pins, and if so can they be flushed down without affecting anything downstream with the rifle? Thanks guys! Brad
