  1. Brenneke 3" are my hunting round. Barely a drop @ 70 yds and great penetration for hunting with 2.5 inch groups at that range. I get similar grouping from their 2 3/4 KO slugs. I have also found that Remington Slugger 2/34 are pretty accuratre too with 3 inch groups at 70yds but a LOT less penetration than either Brenneke. Stay away from Federal slugs unless you use the Premium true-ball. Every federal vita-shock I shot hit a diff edge of the target, like 12 inch groups atr 70-75 yds. The True-Ball Premium was just like the Remmy Sluggers with a little more penetration.
  2. I just bought the skely for my S-20, have to drill out a hole for the bottom bolt screw, otherwise matches up fine. Did you have to drillyours out too?
  3. Cut the barrel down past the choke, should not be a problem then.
  4. I was asking how hard it is to put a thread on a NON-THREADED s-20 so I can change out the muzzle adaptors. Can my local shop do it or does it take special machining??
  5. How hard is it to get your Saiga threaded to fit one of these?
  6. There is no choke. I will try different ammo and stick with 3inch mags. How much does it run to get threaded for a choke tube? I've never had any custom gunsmithing done--so i'm clueless.
  7. 1st post, I bought a 20 (cylinder/smooth bore) right before deer season to hunt with, but could not get a consistent placement @ 50yds w/slugs(Federal 2 3/4). Nice tight pattern @ 35yds w/3inch BS. Any suggestion on increasing accuracy without threading a rifled choke?
