  1. I've gotten my 7.62X39 up to 30,000 and had to replace some worn stuff. the rated life span of an ak (told by Shiek) is supposibly 40,000. but easily enough, the parts are readily available, and if I had to use a dead man's ak as parts - it's just no problem. ok maybe somebody elses broken ak I got for cheap!(sounded tuff though didn't it). trigger extractor (eea charged $20 bucks, bastards!!!)
  2. The best thing I've shot yet was a crystal Frog candle holder!!!!!!!! 50 yds open sited - the mf'r shattered into a brilliant spray of tiny peices. in the sun light it was like looking into a misty water source! I know that a propane bottle needs a flare or something lit next to it! my old standby is the beer bottle at 100yds. if you can hit it standing or moving, you'd be invited to my haulocost army!!!! don't worry folks I shootem' proped in a cardboard box, and tote out the remains. we wouldn't want the sasquatch to cut a toe!!! for the ruger 10/22's a carton of eggs makes 12 KILL
  3. I finaly got on! like an idiot I entered my Email address without the dot com. No one said I was a smart kid! my sign on name looks the same but i reversed the a and i the way I intended too the first time i logged!
  4. preach it KY!!!!!!!!! to move the trigger forward is to own an AK the way god and mr. kolishnikov intended. when you leave the trigger in the back, you are activating a two lever system. seems a lot when all you are trying to do is release the hammer? when you take the trigger plate off, evrything's all-ready to be put back. simple easy and let's face it, the right thing to do! show your ak the love it needs
  5. I use grease on the rails that the piston slides on. never in the gas tube itself. regular auto grease.
