I wouldnt use duplicolor. I called and they told me their products are NOT designed for firearms. If and when that fails you should just buy some Alumahyde II from brownells, you can oven bake it or just let it sit for a week and it will cure. Guaranteed to hold up against chemicals used for gun cleaning with proper prep.

So with a 10rd magazine I am only at 11 on the parts count and I have to be at 10? What would be an easy and cheap way so that I could be compliant without a full modification to the shotty?

I picked up a brand new saiga 12 about 2 weeks ago. This one had 4 HOLES....awesome! I took a paperclip and bent it over, confirmed all 4 are free and clear. 2 of the holes took a little pressure but the other 2 were easy to clear, you may want to try that. Not to hi-jack the thread but what number should the gas port be on when shooting 00 buck and slug?

I've been lurking for sometime-unregisted and finally picked up my first brand new Saiga 12 last weekend. Decided to register and ask a couple of questions. Trying to do my very first conversion on my Saiga 12. Need some opinions on which of these 2 options would you go with? 1st option: -replace the TG with the saiga tech unit, I think overall this would look better as I can just spray some sort of corrosion protective paint over the bottom of the receiver and have the Saiga Tech TG finished in duracoat or gunkote for a nice permanent finish on the TG.
