  1. This is FTF in Central OK (any Oklahoman who will drive to meet me), or if you are out of state, to your FFL dealer for $25 more for shipping. This one is a nearly perfect condition, Saiga rifle in .308 win / 7.62x51mm NATO. Don't need it anymore as I've upgraded to an AR10 rifle. I've only put about 75 rounds through it - I bought it new couple years ago. Shoots good; surprisingly accurate. Stats are: 21.8" bbl, chrome-lined, wood furniture, recoil pad, parkerized finish, comes with two 8-round mags & neoprene/nylon sling w/cartridge loops. I can sell it with or without the scope mou
  2. OK, still trying to get my first Saiga shotgun. Over at the RAAC website, they indicate that there are only 2 kinds - a 19" and a 24". Questions: 1. Are there any submodels or variations to choose from, when I have my gun shop order it? 2. Do both of the barrel length models come with interchangeable choke tubes, neither one of them, or only the 24"? Thanks. http://www.raacfirearms.com/Saiga_12.htm
  3. what's raac's @#%@#$%@#$% website url? It never comes up in a google search for "russian american armory corp" (ridiculous), and it's not (apparently) raaccorp.com like I thought. and can we please add said URL here?: http://www.saiga-12.com/Links.htm
  4. OK, guys, thanks. It's a done deal. I ordered the model BP-2 low mount from http://www.tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/ Looks like it's loooooooooow. Not to mention less than the K-Var models.
  5. hmm, that looks plenty low maddog...so is that this specific one here: http://www.tapco.com/product_information.a...ept=184&last=13 ?? Thanks.
  6. Hi. Can anyone tell me: 1. Is there ANY mount that can get my scope lower than the K-Vars can, for my .308 Saiga? It's a Bushnell Elite 3200, 2-7x32mm. 2. Is there any *High-quality* mount that can get my scope lower than the K-Vars? Any other recommendations for a mount for the side plate? I'd like to get the scope as low as possible, or perhaps to just enough to be able to barely see the rear and front irons on the lowest setting (100 yards). Thanks a bunch.
  7. Hi. What state are you in please? (in case I'm in the same one for a FTF purchase)
  8. Thanks again everyone. Say, so is the twist rate on the 16 incher also 1 in 12? If so, then perhaps the 22 incher will stabilize 174s, but not-so-well on the 16? Or does the 16 have a 1 in 10 twist? I ask because I'm thinking of getting the 16" one also as a pickup gun, but if I did, I'd want to find one good load to load up in quantity (handload) for both, and I prefer *generally* heavier bullets with better BCs and penetration for hunting and other purposes, so I'm interested in 180s or 174s, or at a minimum, 168s, that will be accurate in both. Or, if this is not possible, I'd probably
  9. Rook, you are DA MAN! Thanks. Hmm, so heavy loads, like 180s, would likely not stabilize with that twist? Would they even feed? I've been looking here at some scope/mount combos.. http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/bstpso.html What other good online stores?
  10. New to board. I just got the wood-stocked, 21.8" bbl version, .308 Saiga on a bit of an impulse purchase. First .308 ever. First Saiga ever. Second AK-style rifle ever (other one is a Norinco MAK90, 7.62x39). I'm fired up about using this gun as an all-purpose hunter and defender. If it's accurate enough and if I like it enough, and if 20-rounders are forthcoming, I think it can supplant several other rifles, including 2 hunting turnbolts and a .223 EBR (at least until such time as I get an M1A ). Can anyone answer some of my questions please. I'm very lazy so I haven't read the docum
