  1. Notice how the third pin is popped back out of place in that picture? Looks like someone needs a trip to the armorer to have his sheppards crook put back in place ;-)
  2. I have for sale a brand new in the box Colt M4LE 6921 Law Enforcement Carbine with a 14.5" 5.56 mil-spec 1/7 twist barrel. All parts are Colt, marked with the famous "C", where appropriate. This is the real deal!! Still have the original box, and plastic bag it came in. Its only been out to take pictures of it, and have probably only charged the handle 3 or 4 times. Comes with original accessories - sling, cleaning kit, 2 20-round mags. I'm throwing in 2 extra 30-round mags. All 4 mags marked "Colt" with the Rampant Colt symbol. The year of manufacture date stamped on t
  3. C'mon, any takers? Any offers? I'll entertain pretty much anything...
  4. ***********RIFLE IS SOLD****************** Up for grabs is a Saiga .308 with a 21 inch hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel. It was imported by EAA and was manufactured in 2004. It is converted from the "sporterized" rifle stock to standard pistol grip configuration, and has black sythetic furniture with a Choate Dragunov stock and a Tapco G2 Hammer, Trigger and Sear, so it is 922r compliant. It comes with a Harris adjustable-legged bipod, UTG 5th gen quick release scope mount, Tasco Worldclass 3-9x40 scope, and 3 magazines - 2 factory 8-rounders and a SureFire 25 rounder. I am t
  5. Dude, I know. Its a lost cause to try to get any hard accuracy info out of these guys. Its kinda like talking to a brick wall. So far, no one has done any extensive testing/reviews. All I'm hearing is that its "good" or "great"; words that are purely qualitative, not quantitative. If someone gives me some hard data, I'll drop the coin for one of these. Otherwise, what's the point? I bought the thing, went through all the trouble of reserving the range to make a quick video, and gave a quick rundown on the results of my findings. What else do you want? Either buy it or don't man
  6. "Trolling-ass" nothing. After repeated attempts to get some real accuracy info about this brake, I was repeatedly ignored, so I think I've got the right to call you on it. I hunt with my 16" Saiga .308 as well, where the mule deer are at a minimum 75-100yds away. What's "lame" is that you don't practice at realistic distances with your hunting rifle. That is the gun you kill things with, correct? Maybe you don't hunt at those distances, who knows. All that aside, my point being that your review wasn't any way realistic or helpful to me. If you recall, I said: "Its a lost cause to try t

  9. Well, the LRBHO is all well and good, but does anybody have an Extended Mag Release that they're willing to part with?
  10. and when you take the mag out................. Valid point. I guess I'm not thinking of people who don't have a magwell. In my case, it doesn't matter if you have the bolt locked back or not, so a LRBH that can't have the bolt dropped without toucjing the charging handle is kinda useless. With a magwell, mags go in easy whether they're loaded or not - you're still gonna have to rack the bolt to get it loaded. I'd want something where you can just pull down on the BHO and have the bolt carrier chamber a round. That's where its at.
  11. Ya know, It would seem that all it would take would be a follower that extended up out of the mag on the last round to hold the bolt back. In fact, I had a ProMag that acted like that because the follower wasn't molded right. I bet if someone just made a taller, steel reinforced follower, you'd have your Last Round Bolt Hold Open right there. That's how it works on Yugo 7.62x39 mags....
  12. Ok, point taken. I can admit that I was totally ignorant of the facts. If Cobra is telling me Jeric's LRBHO is crap, then I am inclined to believe him, and steer clear of it. Furthermore, I will wait for what Cobra has in store. Thanks to all who "learned me up good." I needed it.
  13. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . So what the hell is that about? You got nothing better to do? At least thehopping1 offered some helpful info. Any idea on how to get ahold of Jeric, anyone? Anybody have any info about him? I know he used to sell them. Do you all know something I don't? Thanks.
  14. So, what's the price break-down for an SBS? It was only $200 for my SBR. Coming from somebody who's done it, how much did you pay in licensing fees and such?
  15. Hey fellas, I'm looking for an Extended Mag Release and Last Round Bolt Hold Open. I've been trying to get ahold of Jeric, because I really like the way his extended mag release would fit with my trigger guard. If anybody has any info, please get ahold of me. Thanks.
  16. Ya know, I've got a little 16" barreled Saiga .308 that I was considering getting this item for. In fact I've been very curious about it as of late. I was concerned with how this brake will affect accuracy. I've done some paper shooting with my rifle at 100 yards using 2003 production Lithuanian Surplus, 147 GR 7.62.51 NATO stuff. With iron sights, I've always stayed within a 5" x 5" group, when I'm really concentrating. At 100 yards, I'll set up shaken-up pop cans (fruit punch is my favorite) and consistently hit 7-12 in a row, about 3 seconds between shots. Furthermore, I recent
  17. I'm looking for a Saiga-12 factory thread protector/nut. I've got my barrel threaded, but can't seem to get a nut to cover the threads, or find a factory muzzle nut that isn't made out of 24karat gold:money: If anyone's got a muzzle nut hangin around, or even a choke that they aren't using, I'd like to pick it up from you. I've also got a few items to trade, don't know if anyone's interested: some Saiga factory trigger parts and buttstocks. I'm more than willing to pay cash though. Thanks.
  18. Up for sale is a Romanian G-kit AK on a DC Industries receiver. The date on the rifle is 1986, and all numbers match, including the gas tube, top cover, bolt, and bolt carrier. It has a threaded barrel (14x1 left-hand) and a bayonet lug. This is pretty much a brand new gun, manufactured by Top Cat Enterprises out of Keizer, OR. I've only had 50 rounds through it to function test it, and thoroughly cleaned it for storage afterward. Its a solid, straight-shooting rifle. $500, and comes with two 30-round magazines and a rifle bag.
  19. Up for sale is a gas block from a Romanian SAR-1. Just a standard, plain gas block without bayonet lug. Would work good for a new build. The price is $15 Buyer pays $3 shipping if paying by money order, or $5 if paying by PayPal Feel free to email me with an questions at: j.grandstaff@gmail.com
  20. Up for sale is a Bulgarian side rail scope mount, item #74BU-IK. I purchased this part from Tantal.com for a AK-74 project, but the project fell through, and I no longer need it. These rails are direct replicas of the Bulgarian AK-74 rails and go for 60 bucks new from Tantal. This one is brand new, just like it came from Tantal, and comes with 3 rivets, two short, one long, and a printed instruction guide. This is a great deal on a high-quality part. The price is $40. Buyer pays $3 shipping if paying by money order, or $5 if paying via PayPal.
