I'm having a similar problem. With a lot of force I managed to get the old plug out, and when putting the new plug in, the directions say to fit it until it bottoms out, and I'm not sure it is bottoming out. I do hear little clicks as it gets close though, how do I know what gas setting the plug is on, or if it's seated properly? With the old plug, one number would be face up, and that was what setting it was on.

Hey Bolivian, I just bought a new Saiga 12, I took it to the range today and I can say without a doubt that it is awesome! Everything works out of the box, although I did buy some 10 round mags. I also bought a recoil buffer, but I wanted to shoot the Saiga once before I installed it, and those slugs certainly do deliver a lot of kick, so be prepared if you plan to shoot slugs. Also I'm a Saiga 12 forum noob, lol
