  2. For 3" shells I use the 3" mag and for the 2.5" shells I use the 2.5" mag. The 2.5" mag shoots shot shells great. The same 2.5" mag does not like slugs. The 3" mag I can only find shot shells for it. It works great. I have never run 2.5" shells in the 3" mag. I would bet that the 3" would hang up with slugs though. I have run about 50 rounds through the gun. Morning, Greatday -- Only time my Saiga had problems (okay, there were actually two times)... First time, it was because the gas piston had accumulated about 1/8" of crud on it and just didn't really want to move anymore. Clean
  3. I was thinking of removing the top of an AK romanian 75 round drum and welding or fitting on the 5 round mags some how. I have to disassemble my drum anyways. This should be fun!
  4. Got an other project for ya! You know them there FAL mags? Retro fit them to your .410 That should keep you busy for a while if you order 1.000 of them and cut/weld them up. I'll buy 10!
  5. Nope, not a pistol, stocks are on order. Thanks for the tip on the gas piston and carrier. I can see me figureing out a eon later what was wrong with the shotgun.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that you daughter is sick with west nile virus. Prayers are on the way. I just bought my .410 2 weeks ago and had to join this sight too! These guys seem cool.

As long as your finished firearm has LESS than 10 imported parts you are fine If you are going to be putting a pistol grip on your rifle. You are "making" not "manufacturing" a sporting firearm from the 7.62x39 saiga. This is important, the terms make and manufacture. If you are new to this hobby you had better get some potato chips and dip and a few mountain dews and read this monster of a publication. What you are going to be doing is drilling out the rivits and hacking a hole for t
  8. Hi people, I have found this cool sight for Saiga boom stick lovers like myself. I feel I'm going to have a lot of fun here. I am no expert on these firearms but I do have a basic understanding of their function and their potential. I have received my shotgun about a week ago from my FFL and it took me about 2 minutes to decide to "sporterise" it. I am aware of the CFR section 922 compliant section of our gun laws and have complied with all of the rules and regulations on my saiga project in motion. I have been to the BATFE reference guide and have read the rules on shotguns and destruct
