  1. Guys at this time its looking like I may be closing my site down. I recently moved and started a new full time job which leaves me very little free time. I am currently not accepting orders and a automatic email should of been sent to you when you placed your order stating this. Not sure why one wasn't but I apologize. I have not charged your card and will not do so. There is still a possibility that I will get things back up and running but I guess we will have to see.

  4. The SAR would sell between $350 & $400. I would post it on Ak47.net or gunbroker.com. The SAR rifles where designed for hi cap mags and have the mag well dimples which is very desirable to some people. This is a SLOW time of year though for selling rifles.
  5. I have quality rivit sets for $5.99 each. These include 2 rear trunion rivets, 5 trigger guard rivets, and 4 swell neck front trunion rivets. Plus FREE Center Support & Rivit Plus I will throw in a FREE center support bushing and rivit with each set. These are not needed for 100% receivers but are needed for homemade receivers. Pleases note that the center support rivit is a Tapco rivit and may need the head to be rounded down to get the original look. But like I said Im throwing it in for FREE;) Quality receiver flats with improved steel & dimples as LOW as $12 each when you

  9. www.picyard.com/main/uploads/66/PICT0247.JPG I have a franken Ak that has been converted to use 9mm Sten mags. Its a very unusual set up. I bought the gun as is and have only taken it out once. I think I put about 30 rounds of winchester through it but the barrel pin snapped. From just eyeing it it appears that the pin was only about 1/8" so I would suggest that it is drilled out to 1/4" or so and a stronger pin installed. This should be as simple as drilling it out and making a new larger pin. The gun is pretty much complete and with a new barrel pin should be fine. It might need a little fi
  10. It doesnt seem like it would be a problem to add pigment to the amber mags while keeping the same properties. Would this be a option?
  11. These arn't cast (not in the traditional sense, then again injection molding is a high pressure, high temp casting process), its a new process...ie patent pending. To date I have 341 magazines in house, the metal components are being finished as we speak. The magazines are strong, but are not super strong. They can take anything beyond what a traditional magazine is exposed to. Ian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> badz sorry for coming to conclusions. It sounds like you are really onto something. I cant wait for these to hit the market. :-) Edited to remove it from badz quote.
  12. Im gonna guess that these are casted from a two part resin. Im affraid if this is the case your gonna run into a variety of problems. The biggest ones are gonna be the strength of the material and the actuall production. From past experience I have found that the actuall molds wear out very fast which leads to a huge increase in flashing and then to the actuall mold coming apart. I would start small at a couple dozen or untill the mold wears out then make another mold and start again. If it seems like something that can be managed with consistant quality then the next step would be to test the
