Well i finally ordered my first saiga today after YEARS of reading on this site (mostly on the saiga 12). My question is this: Looking on the MI website it says thier new saiga handguard is for 7.62 and .223 versions... So i called and asked if it would fit the 5.45 as well and they said to get the universal AK guard. Does this sound right? What will i lose by going w the universal??? Should i just order the saiga version anyways and hope for the best? Thanx for the help!

Anybody know if i can get a five round mag or how i can permanantly modify a mag to only hold 5 rounds? Everything but rimfire is legal on florida deer.

Let me use your same logic on the ultimak to make it inferior to the MI. Ultimak is to long and has to much rail for my likeing = inferior Ultimak is know to over heat and smoke optics = inferior And as far as co-witness goes, I care not to even have my optic on the gas tube I like mine over the receiver where it belong's.
