  3. That would make sense actually. These are the best pics I could come up with, all I have is a camera on my phone but it's still decent. Thanks for the help so far, let me know what you think: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4645660/IMG_20101026_165340.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4645660/IMG_20101026_165334.jpg
  4. Did you install the forearm screw back in? Yes, what I described is after all provided hardware has been used. So it's fully assembled.
  5. I'm having issues getting the quad rail to fit properly on my s12. I had no problem knocking out the rear sight. I had to make the rear keyhole larger, there was a block on each side of it making it smaller than what would fit. I compared the quad rail key to a tri-rail key I had and the chaos is bigger. I got it to go on, the problem is the top half of the rail is not centered with the front sight, and it seems like it might not be as low as it could go. When you try to aim with the chaos H&K style sights, it's pretty obvious it's not centered as well. I can't find any pictures clos
  6. right now just the factory sights, but what would be good options for better iron sights than the factory sights?
  7. does anyone recommend a specific bore sight for zeroing my x39? i'm kinda new still and haven't had a chance to properly zero the sights, so i could use some advice
  8. Me and another forum member, who have been doing web development for a long time, are looking to expand our portfolio before we launch a site targeting gun store owners. So obviously, we need some examples of gun websites. We're offering 3 free designs to the first 3 people that are definitively interested. If you don't like the mock-up for some reason, no worries. This will be a full overhaul of your website, with full functionality. You can post in this thread or contact me via PM. Thanks for looking!
  9. Please tell me how you are doing this for so cheap, I have access to a MEC 9000 so that's free and we have hulls for free but the cost per round for everything else is about .24/round. Federal bulk pack runs about .23/round and Winchester AA runs about .30/round. it depends on if you're molding your own bullets and how much powder, etc you buy at once. price decreases based on that
  10. what loading data did you use for reloading them with buckshot and slugs?
  11. i'm getting into this myself lately too... i almost have all the supplies, waiting on my melting pot still, i got the same molds you mentioned though. i saw a youtube clip about using wheel weights and the guy in the clip melted htem all down in a separate pot and tried to purify them first, video here: did your friends using wheel weights do that first?
  12. hey everyone, i've been tryin to find some good pics that show the bolt mod for easier reloading. all the old threads i've dug up have a lot of dead pics and don't really have too much definitive info. it would be cool if there was a sticky made showing this mod. thanks for any help.
  13. i'm honestly not even sure how to tell how many there are, but as far as how many holes are in the area wher eyou would screw in the gas plug, there's 2 holes
