  1. I just recieved a Pro Mag 20 rnd. and it was actually a little bit sloppier than I prefer... I doesn't seem to affect the reliability one bit yet but I had my file in hand when I opened the box... I would have actually PREFERED to custom fit my magazines to my gun but it is what it is. Pro Mags paperwork that comes w/ the drum actually tells you to expect some fitting to be neccessary.
  2. Well now this is just perfect! I pretty much want to build an exact replica of a S-12K from a S20. I just love the look... I was going to get this stock for it too. Will this be a fairly accurate look and size? Also, I will be cutting down and rethreading the barrel. What length will I need to cut it to? So what kind of timeline am I looking at if I sent you a factory HG? Thanks!
  3. I'm building a lightweight clay shooting S20 for my wife right now and I want to put this hanguard on it. For some reason I can't seem to find who makes it or where to buy it... It seems pretty popular though so I'm guessing I'm just ignorant... I want this lower guard and Cobra's upper guard shown in the pic. Thanks!
  4. That is brilliant! This is EXACTLY what I was thinking of doing to my SBS 12 I plan to start next! Did you start w/ something factory?
  5. Thanks guys! I must say... I put a few hundred more rounds through it last weekend and It did start stovepiping on me every once in a while... I have been buying the absolute cheapest loads I can find in my quest to make this thing shoot ANYTHING... I may just have to give up on the really cheap stuff but I'm not done yet. My next build will be my own attempt at a SBS / pistol conversion. I really like the Tromix version... I just need to try it myself. I also want to try a bullpup S12 myself but it seems some of the others here are working on a pretty nice kit I may have a hard time passi
  6. So after about 6 months of research, waiting for parts, disassembly, reassembly, testing, adjusting, etc... I finally finished my first Saiga 12. I'm extremely happy with this gun. It will shoot #8 target loads as fast as I can pull the trigger and never jams. The trigger itself is darn near perfectly smooth and light, and it is an absolute perfect fit for my 6'6" frame... I just want to thank everyone who contributes here for the wealth of knowledge you've laid out for amatures like myself. I've been a member of this site for a little bit now. Even though I haven't posted much yet I've spend
  7. Wow, nice work. I'm very interested in looking into something like this myself at some point...
  8. How far out are you on shipping the extended rails right now?
  9. I've seen the (Alliance?) design. I LIKE it. The only problem is it would be way too easy to just buy it... I prefer to waste a bunch of time and money trying to do things my own way...
