    The 45 acp is the magic round. It kills anything and everything upon impact no matter shot placement. All other rounds are inferior. Because....uh....uhh...i ....uhhhh

      My Kimber is the smoothest production 1911 in its price range I've personally shot, and the MIM parts haven't even exploded yet. :)

      Same here Echo. Hammer is just playing the villian here for continuity of the discussion. Beavertails on a 1911 are almost a must. The A1 grip safety can sometimes bite people while shooting. I actually carry all but one 1911 so I want to be able to use my sights irregardless of what light level is in my environment at the moment. MIM parts were screwed up at first. It was something new and they had to work out the kinks in it. Seems like now, there are no problems. Every Kimber owner...
